The Full Half Of The Glass - Title
Message from The Bar Message From The Bar

Welcome to the black edition of The Full Half Of The Glass!

We are already in the month of October, can you believe time moves that fast? It is hard to believe, especially with the crazy summer/fall we are having. Never the less, October is here and this edition is all about the black... Black Vodka that is.

Blavod - The Black Vodka

Blavod is made in the United Kingdom from the heartwood of Burmese catechu acacia trees. The Black Catechu gives the vodka its black color, and yet it does not effect the characteristics of the vodka, or modify the odor or flavor in any way. Blavod is an 80-proof vodka (40% alcohol by volume).
Although its unique color, Blavod has very positive reviews and is known as a good vodka even when matched against many of the clear vodka. Some say it has a hint of herbal after taste, while others claim it is as good and smooth as any high end vodka.
While taste is subjective, Blavod color is clearly black. Due to its color, Blavod is very hard to mix with regular drinks on regular days of the year... that is, other than Halloween. Below you will find several mixed drinks, martinis, and shots, all appropriate to Halloween and all based on Blavod black color.

Featured drinks based on Blavod

This year October has one more special meaning for RG Bar Services. This year we have our first half page ad in the San Diego Style Wedding Magazine. Since we have submitted the ad back in June, we haven't seen how it will look and where in the magazine will it be posted. We are looking forward to see the ad and to see if it will actually help us grow even more. Therefore, next time you pass by a florist, a wedding bakery, and many of the venues, pick up the San Diego Style Wedding Magazine and see if you can find our ad inside.

Don't worry, we won't forget that a big portion of our business is based on referrals from clients and vendors like yourself, and we thank you for that! Which brings up a good point, if you haven't placed a review of our services yet, this may be a great time to visit Google, Yelp, or even Facebook, and enter your review of our services to you.

Wishing you a spooky Halloween, your friendly bartenders at RG Bar Services
